Description

You'll be singing sweet songs of mountain’s majesty at Lake Durant Campground, where epic views of Blue Mountain can be seen through the heavily forested sites. The grounds are popular for boating and canoeing and fish are abundant in Lake Durant; a man-made and shallow body of water, so please refrain from bringing that beastly yacht! And if you don’t have access to a boat, cast a line from the pier, plain and simple. Give the ol' land legs a stretch from plenty of access points near basecamp that will hook you up to miles of gorgeous trails. Come party time, head back to camp for toasty 'n' tasty treats around the fire. Isn’t wilderness awesome?
