This is a fantastic property to stay at! There was wood available, an outhouse, potable water in the sugar shack, and a clever dishwater disposal - a bucket with holes set in the ground, topped with a colander then covered with a lid held down by a rock. Strain your dishwater and throw away the solids! They're very proactive about keeping bears away. Saw lots of deer activity ;) but no deer. Well marked trails. No cell or internet available! Do all research before you go! Black flies, massive thunderstorm & all - it was a great weekend!

Site was clean private quiet and with good amenities
This is a great spot to go camping! When you arrive it's obvious they put a lot of attention and care into their property and sites. The host is very attentive and accommodating and I definitely plan on coming back!
Lovely people, great location. Fantastic advice! 100% recommend.
Our stay at Woodland Grove camping was wonderful ! Bob and Sheila are very welcoming and friendly. They shared a lot of information about activities in the area. We want to go back for more!
By far this was my favorite camp site of my life. I've only been seriously going outdoors for about 5 years, but I've been in different sites across America, and everything was top notch. There was a delicate balance achieved between privacy, ammenaties, and preservation of nature. The host was a very kind and thoughtful person, and left you alone to enjoy the woods. Thank you.
The campground at Adirondack Vacation Base was amazing. Very private, with plenty of space to explore. The hosts have done an amazing job with accommodations and details. The outhouse is super clean and nice, the trail system is well marked and fun to explore, and the campsite was well appointed. Would definitely return!

Bob and Sheila are awesome, and have such a special thing going on at Adirondack Vacation Base. The campsite was beautiful and secluded, with an outhouse and running water nearby. The site is very large, with plenty of options for arranging our campsite how we wanted with multiple fire pit areas to choose from. We were greeted warmly and received so many great recommendations for nearby activities. Will definitely be coming back!
It was a great private site due to only booking one site during COVID. Sheila and Bob were very friendly and super knowledgeable about the area. A little road noise but stopped a bit later in the night.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience (and great photos) with other campers. We wanted to clarify for future guests that we do have a landline and internet available in the lobby of our office building for guest use (they can also shower in this building for an additional fee). Thanks again for taking such good care of the campsite. We hope to have you back again soon!
