Megan, Rick & their boys were wonderful hosts, the views were just beautiful. They even brought a canoe down for the hubby have a paddle up the river.
Nice clean, even ground with plenty of natural firewood to collect. The property has Llamas, horses, cows and sheep as well as a nice size goanna sunbaking on the banks.
Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway :)
Peaceful, quiet spot on the river
What a fantastic spot, right on the water with stunning views of the river. Megan is a great host. She was helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.
On top of the lovely camp site with a stunning view of the river, Megan was absolutely awesome and accommodating! She gave us a rundown of the place, some secret spots up the river, and let us be, setting up camp and making our own little fire. Was such a great experience, we will definitely be coming back!
I'd really like to keep it secret!
I'm in two minds about writing this review as I'd really like to keep this camping spot a secret! ;-) Only an hour or so drive from the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, this camping spot is one of our favourites! Right by the Nepean River, in complete privacy and yet with our host nearby, happy to take a call (a number of calls in fact) guide us to the site, show us to the kayaks and paddle boat, and even share with us jumper cables to restart the car, etc, etc. Thank you Rick and Megan for being wonderful hosts and providing a wonderful stay for our families.
