Exactly what we had expected. Lot's of space, basic but good and clean amenities and the chance to lit a fire under the stars. We will definitely come back.
Beautiful location, we could see the sea from our pitch. Our pitch was spacious, neighbours were far away.
Our only minor disgruntle was that we could only find one female toilet, and this was combined with the shower. More toilets, or more signage if we simply missed them would be appreciated.
We had a really great night here! The location is so great, the views are really beautiful and it’s so quiet - so much space for everyone to spread out. It was nice having the horses and alpacas hanging out while we cooked dinner, and John couldn’t have been a lovelier host. Definitely coming back!
Really nice little spot not too far from Sydney. John helped us with our fire, accommodating for us not-so-outdoorsy folk! Would happily visit again.
I am hesitant to sing the praises of this tranquil retreat, should it become too popular ... but wow! What a find! Absolute awesome location with quirky rustic amenities, close to public transport for day trips into Sydney city. Close to the best beaches, cafes and all the south coast has to offer.
Beautiful camping spots! Amazing views and nice environment. It would be good to have more facilities like toilets and sink to wash the dishes. But overall we loved it!

A lovely weekend staying at Big Rock, even with the rain and wind. Lovely secluded area. For those interested in this area of the camp, the toilet is located about 100m down the hill. The shower facilities are a drive down to the Plateau area. This wasn’t clear in the listing, but we will be back!
