We are an 18 acre property within the Blue Mountains, a World Heritage listed National Park. We called this place Waratah Glen because of all the waratahs that flower here very year. You are welcome to cut a small bunch to take home with you if they are flowering at the time.  Backing onto Crown Land, our bush is beautiful and abounds with wildlife. Wallabies, ducks, tortoises, our tame Maggie's, cockatoos and wattle birds. Well behaved dogs are very welcome here and we prefer this to be a family friendly camp. Not for party's or noisy bikes. We have amazing and serene private bushwalking tracks from our property and it is possible to go yabbying as out the back of our property are the headwaters of Victoria Creek. This is accessible by foot. There is also a magical hanging swamp about 20 minutes walk. A perfect place for that picnic. Spread your picnic rug under the Eucalyptus Oreades and enjoy the tinkle of a far off waterfall and the sounds of the bush. If you have a caravan, swags or campers, we have a suitable camping area for you. Please note, this is private camping and we only take a few different family camping units at any one time. We have beautiful sunsets, stargazing in the crisp mountain air, shooting stars guaranteed. Firepit supplied. Please feel free to gather all the fallen timber you need for your campfire, excluding on fireban days. Shoes must be worn at all times while on the property. There are NO AMENITIES and you must be self contained, We are not a commercial campground. We are ten minutes from the major tourist attractions, five minutes drive to the National Park and less than 2 hours drive from the centre of Sydney. There are mountain bike tracks from our property.  Nearby is rock climbing, hanggliding, abseiling, horse riding, spelunking and canyoning, scenic lookouts, Jenolan Caves, fabulous restaurants and Cafes, toasty warm pubs for lunch, Tea rooms and art galleries, Day Spas and Gardens and more bushwalking. There may be traffic noise from nearby road at Le Shack site so if you want a very quiet site please book the more primitive Valley or Bush camp sites on our property. Please note that there electricity and potable water is only available at Le Shack campsite.

Le Shack Blue Mountains
Good stuff.
Yes, it's right on the weigh bridge, but it's a brilliant shack, super affordable, in a bushy green spot, with lovely views from the campfire. Hospitable hosts, farm fresh eggs, and mini fridge while camping is a treat.

Valley camp Blue Mountains
Great for a base camp
Valley camp was private, had a good view where we camped and was safe and secure for us to leave our camper and explore the Blue Mountains.

What a delight!
A wonderful spot amongst the gums, wattles and paperbarks! Beautiful views and a good walk down to the waterfall. It even snowed for us!

Valley camp Blue Mountains
Great spot, loved it
Superb hosts, so friendly and welcoming. We stayed at one of the campsites on another ridge, nice and private. Great view over the valley. Watching the sunrise was special. The stars are superb and my wife and I loved watching the satellites fly over at night. Superb spot, cant wait to come back again soon.

Susan was very welcoming and friendly. She gave us a choice of camping spots to suit us. We weren’t rushed to leave by a certain time and were advised on various walks from where we camped. Our camp site was spacious and private. There was a great fire pit and plenty of firewood.
