Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms northeast of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Big Bama and No 3 - you'll need to be fully self contained. There is a dump point in Moama. Toilets can be hired from Central Hire in Echuca. They can deliver it for you. Mobile and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Tooranie Creek Side Campsite
We loved our stay at this amazing little campsite. Feels like glamping with the cute outdoor kitchen, toilet and shower. You can even rent a ready made tent from the hosts if you want less hassle setting up. I love that it has all these convenient features but you still feel like you are in a peaceful bush setting and the best part is you have so much space to yourself to relax. Fireplace and wood from the hosts is another amazing touch.

No. 3
We had a great little camping holiday at No 3!. It was a stinker of a weekend soaring to 36/38 degrees each day. The owners (Kerry and Ben) were great, really obliging and has installed a river water shower just for us! And took the closest water hole for a little test swim to make sure we were kept nice and cool. They'd spent a lot of thought on the campsite, and had a fire pit there as well as running water, fairy lights and arrows on the trees making night time arrival easy. We loved parking our camp chairs in the shallows, feet wet and cool and a few cold bevies. We'd come again for sure! Thanks Kerry and Ben!

Tooranie Creek Side Campsite
Great peaceful spot, lots of wildlife and shade for hot days. Kerry was very responsive and hospitable especially on a heat wave weekend making sure we were ok. The creek was just starting to dry up when we were there but the concrete tub definitely saved the day and we could still do a bit of kayaking.
