An exclusive spot for you and your group. Toombooloomoobah is close to Termeil, Bawley Point, Pigeon House, Shallow Crossing and Brooman. The property is 164 acres with roughly 20 acres on the western side of the river.
There is capacity for up to 30 people, or more by negotiation.
There is an open shelter with an undercover fireplace and covered communal area. There are two drop toilets, and two rain water tanks for water. The camping area is situated in an open grassy space with Blue gum trees sprinkled around, and adjacent to the forested lower river banks. Water gums, casuarinas, blue gums, myrtle, tea tree, lomandra and native grasses cover the river banks.
There is a small grassy area just meters from the main river crossing and waterhole swimming area. There is a second access to the river on the northern end of the camp which leads down to the water pump site on the top side of the waterhole.
You are likely to see goanna, water dragon, wombat, possum, kangaroo, wallaby and lots of birds.
The neighbours to the north have a motorbike track on the western side of the river, roughly 400 metres from the camping area. It is not visible, but you can hear them when there are people there.
2WD vehicles can access the property while conditions are dry. There's about 15 mins of good dirt road from Termeil (the easiest access point).
