It's the perfect place for nature lovers to rejuvenate. The night sky is breathtaking as there is no light pollution. In this idyllic spot, you can sit back and watch the kangaroos hop by or go for a long walk through meadows and forest with a big variety of eucalyptus, paperbark and casuarinas.
There are many beautiful areas to choose from, suitable for tents or caravans with easy 2WD access. Sites to suit all tastes, from wide-open spaces to hideaways beside the forest that surrounds our little "Peace" of heaven!
Campfires are permitted in designated areas, firewood and kindling can be collected all over the property.
A toilet is available at the homestead with an external door, if you need this toilet you're best to camp at one of the closer sites to the homestead. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement, but must be kept on leads at all times and are not to disturb wildlife or other campers.
This is a family and nature oriented property, so dirt bike riding, 4x4 driving, as well as loud music and uncivilised behaviour will not be tolerated.
Your hosts Petra and Wolfie have found their piece of paradise after extensive travels all around Australia and are happy to share it with you.
Cost is $30 per 2 Adults, (children 5 and under are free, no need to include them in the booking numbers). Children under 16 are $5 each and any additional guest is $10 each.
For all the Stargazers out there
April 16 to 25 METEOR SHOWER
The Lyrid meteor shower is usually active from April 16 to 25 every year and tends to peak between 22 or 23 (best viewing after midnight)
April 27 SUPERMOON
The first of two supermoons for 2021, where the moon will be near its closest approach to the earth and will look larger and brighter than usual.
May 19 to 25. METEOR SHOWER
This might be a good time for a weekend break far away from city lights. The Eta Aquarius meteor shower peaks during early May each year. They are know for their speed. It is one of two meteor showers in 2021 created by Halley Comet. (Eta Aquarius peak viewing is May 6 to 7)
May 23 to 24. MARS CROSSING
Mars crosses in front of the Beehive Cluster in Cancer. This can be viewed with binoculars or low-magnification telescope. The Beehive Cluster is a star cluster which can only just be seen with the naked eye. It looks like a little fluffy cloud.
May 26. SUPERMOON and TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
This is the second supermoon for 2021, but there is a twist, because a much bigger astronomical event will obscure the view of the supermoon! Starting at 6.45pm and peaking at 9.18pm there will be a Total Lunar Eclipse. When this happens, the moon can turn red - earning its nickname of Blood Moon. Australians are some of the select few who will be able to see the Total Lunar Eclipse.

Of all our hip camp stays, this was by far the best. Petra and Woolfie's generosity will leave you wondering how this quiet, beautiful spot is so cheap. The paddock itself is elevated and looks onto some beautiful landscape. importantly for us, the property is quiet and the road nearby gets no traffic at all during sleeping hours. We have stayed at 7 campsites this year, and nothing compares. Hope to be back soon !
