Come out to a peaceful, relaxing space situated about 45 min from the gorgeous beaches of Byron Bay. Our property is on a semi-rural half acre block in the village of Modanville, NSW. The bottom half of our backyard hill was flattened, now leaving a simple setting for you to rest and/or to explore the rainforests, waterfalls and nature walks of Nightcap National Park, The Channon or Nimbin, which are all close by. We're 45 min from Ballina airport or 1.5 hrs from Gold Coast intl airport. We have two accommodation options: - Traditional yurt with two simple mattresses, but can sleep up to 5 - BYO tent&camping gear(short walk to campsite) - Shared camp kitchen, bathroom & shower a short walk from campsite area (also power plugs for charging phones there) We have organic fruit trees and a veggie patch & a kids' sandpit & play area in the back. We are walking distance to the village shop and takeaway. We are a family of 4 (2 little ones) and 2 cats. Laura is a yoga teacher & massage therapist and offers private classes/massage on request in the yurt. Pets not permitted.

    Wonderful experience
    We really enjoyed our stay and yurt experience. The family was lovely and the area very beautiful. When we were there everything was lush and we are so happy we got to experience the yurt life. Thank you so much. p.s the hot shower in the rain was super !!!!!!!

    Great yurt
    We had a great night in the yurt. Laura, Chris and their kids are great hosts, they are a lovely family. We sighted wallabies in their garden. The yurt was a great experience for us.
