Beautiful area, lovely hosts
I brought my young kids camping for the first time in pouring rain, travelling in a minivan. More fool me, but Sascha, Clint and Paul went out of their way to check on us, and ferry our gear to the campsite. It’s a beautiful big spot with lovely views and we had it to ourselves. A 4WD is definitely needed in the wet to get there though! Nice and close to a pit toilet and national park bushwalks. Thanks for taking such great care of us!!
Peaceful place to camp
We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights of camping at this place, it was nice and relaxing with plenty to explore.
Our dog absolutely loved it, we left her off leash the whole time and didn't have worry. Our hoast were relly helpful with direction guiding us up to the camping area and bringing up the glamping tent. Definitely recommend staying here.
Just the secluded getaway we needed
Friendly and welcoming hosts! It took us an hour from Sydney but felt a million miles away. We appreciated the cool nights in the middle of summer which gave it a very alpine feel. The property borders Popran National Park where the public long drop is located. Take a hike to Emerald Pool, it is well worth the effort. We hope to be back here soon!
We had a lovely stay at Sascha and Clint’s beautiful property, the kids loved sleeping out under the stars, and cooling off under a nearby waterfall. Only pitfall was our GPS taking us the wrong way down a 4WD only track! But we know where to go now and we’ll definitely be back for another visit
Despite getting a decent drenching, I thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of seclusion on this wonderful, wide open campsite. I will definitely be returning in the future with family and pets in tow (and definitely when the weather is improved).
