Immarna means The Camp Immarna homestead was built in 1912. The property breeds Australian Whites, Dorpers, Angus and other Breeds of cattle, with a farmyard for the children. I have lived at Immarna for 28 yrs. Ant Bella and myself think you'll find it's the perfect spot to spend a few nights under the stars with friends or just having time out by yourself to soak up the fresh country air. We are 20 minutes drive from Dubbos iconic Taronga Western Plains Zoo and a short drive from the Macquarie River to enjoy a dip or fish. We also have a bit of a zoo here ourselves, with sheep, cattle, birds, pet hens, guinea fowl, 2 dogs Charlie and Daisy. We offer two campsites by the creek, one powered site at the homestead, and a three person cabin fully self contained. Those staying in the creekside campsites have access to a toilet/shower in the cabin, when it is not occupied, otherwise you are welcome to use the bathroom our 1912 homestead - please note this is a 5-10 minute walk from camp. It's such pretty country here. We love it here and hope you do too. Remember 20 minutes from Dubbo on the Mitchell highway for 15km than turn right at Rawsonville Bridge go for 6km turn left for 1.5km than RIGHT for only 1.2km hence signage 12r with Immarna on the yellow gate. Go over ramp where you’ll sign in at homestead than go to Immarna creekside campsite 🏕 the cabin or powered and unpowered sites.

Immarna Cabin, incl Breakfast!

We had a great stay in the cabin - very cute and comfortable. The property is lovely - far enough from town to feel like you're away from it all but close enough to go where you want. And the night sky is spectacular. Michele and Anthony were warm and welcoming (and so was Daisy the dog). One thing to note - there's a BBQ and microwave but no stovetop in the kitchen. Also Hipcamp and Google maps pinned the location wrong so keep an eye out for the gate - it's not far from the last turn off.

We arrived during heavy rain and could thankfully book the cottage instead of camping. Michele was very accommodating with our kids and we all had a great stay. Beautiful property and peaceful surrounds.

You will love it!!

Michele was super lovely and accomodating. Very friendly and felt at home strait away. Shower and toilet was convenient. The sheep and cattle were super friendly. We loved the wonderful landscape, sunset and sunrise delightful sight every day and I can’t believe the amount of stars, wish I had the right camera for a pic. Just a quick drive to Dubbo for a day at the zoo and Japanese garden.
