With over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property is ideal for campers that want their own space. We are completely off-grid (no wifi to distract you) and we run off tank water (for this reason showers are only available for two hours in the evening). There are multiple camp sites on the property - some are close to hot showers and toilets, others are within a short walking distance. Some sites are perfect for our self sufficient campers who might want a nice private location and don't need access to amenities. There are two shared camp kitchen areas (with pizza ovens and bbqs). We have two amenities blocks with toilets and hot showers and two further compost toilets located at other sites. Campfires are permitted in designated areas (check with us when booking) and firewood can be added to your booking - we do require at least 24 hours notice if you want wood. There are lots of old-style games for the kids such as cricket, tennis, playground, bikes available, a swim in the dam and general country running around fun! Unfortunately we no longer have our flying fox, but there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. We have some great bush walking areas where you might be lucky enough to see our resident wombats or our breeding pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles. You might also be lucky enough to be there when our two kelpies, Finn and Tori, are moving sheep through the property (they like to put on a show!!). The property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922. We try to make sure all of our guests have a great experience - so if you have any special requests reach out to us and have a chat!

Great area nicely off the beaten track, but with the amenities you need - especially if you have kids. Fun activities, nice farm dogs and a gathering of fighting Kangaroos really made the trip! Recommended

Family trip
Great camping, great hosts we will be back. Kids loved the golf course, tennis court and the Dam. The dog had the best holiday out of everyone. We even caught a perch in the dam.

Another great stay at Boxgrove Farm
We had planned to only stay for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay for another 2. Jol and Karen are great hosts, and the property is stunning. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.

Worth it!
Loved it, from the moment we hit the dirt road in! The rain did not dampen the vibe or our enjoyment of this great property!! It’s got something for everyone or lots of quiet too, if that’s what you’re looking for! Jol and Karen could not be more hospitable and are outstanding hosts, thank you, we will be back!

We just got home from such a peaceful stay at Karen and Jol's wonderful farm. They were the perfect balance of present and happy to chat (and deliver fresh baked goods), and leaving people to their space. They maintain the facilities wonderfully, offering clean toilets, hot showers, some kitchen and BBQ facilities, picnic tables, tennis court and bikes to ride, plus more. It was much more than we expected. They are also thoughtful about where to recommend different style camping groups stay on the property to get the most out of their time. We had a wonderful stay, swimming in the large dam, exploring the space with our dog, and relaxing to the sounds of the birdlife. We intend to return.

A campers dream
What a slice of heaven. We got lucky enough to camp right by the dam. The place is very well looked after, grass was mowed, toilet and showers available just to name a few of the many positives. The hosts were so friendly. They even take the time to give us a bit of history about the property. I can’t wait to return!
