Lisa and Robert were such lovely and helpful hosts and we had a great time. We had a group of 8 staying in The Hideaway camping spot which had plenty of room and shade for everyone. We spent most of the time around the fire pit. They have 2 gorgeous doggos too! We'll definitely be back!
Absolutely beautiful spot fantastic welcoming hosts. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.
It rained while I was here and the ground is still firm and easily accessible in a 2wd.
Plenty of even ground for campsites too.
Plus the friendly dogs make it feel like home.
We had a father and son weekend at Bunyip and everyone had a great time. You wouldn’t have known you were only a couple of minutes out of town, the camp ground was beautiful and private with the added bonus you can bring your dog. The host Lisa was very accommodating and look forward to returning.
Bunyips is a great place for a quick and easy drive weekend out of Sydney. Campsites are large and cleared. The farm dogs are friendly but not overwhelming to my small dog. Had a lovely relaxing weekend listening to the peace and quiet.
We had a great time with our 2 dogs. We also had the company of both of the hosts dogs all night which was so lovely! Nice quiet spot, chilled out around the fire and went for a bush walk in the state forest earlier in the day. Will definetly be back!
We spent a stormy weekend at The Hideaway. It's a lovely spot sheltered by trees. Well drained. Lots of birds and a creek nearby. The farm dogs are very social and quite well behaved. Nice spot not too far from Sydney if you just want a bit of bush to recharge.
