The site was great. It’s just like a pad at a professional campsite, maybe nicer. Recently poured level cement pad with 50 amp and 20 amp plugs, fresh well water connection and sewer all within a few feet. Surrounded by great views of the mountains and just far enough outside the city that the stars are visible on a clear night. Just like the listing says, only 10 mins from downtown too.
Rural santa fe rv camping
Ed’s place was everything we expected it to be & we loved our 7 night stay on his property in a rural residential neighborhood. Properties are large so neighbors aren’t close by & it’s very peaceful. The property offers amazing 360 degree views of the beautiful skies in New Mexico.
As described the site is a nicely poured concrete slab with 30 & 50 amp electric, water & sewer. There was also a nice picnic table for use. The site is next to Ed’s home which was fine with us, he’s a great guy! We met him once upon arrival, we text back & forth a few times & that was it.
We definitely recommend this site & look forward to returning. It’s a quick, easy drive into town as well as a nice drive to Kasha-Katuwe & Bandelier National Monument, but every evening we looked forward returning to enjoy the peacefulness & beautiful sunsets!
Super convenient if you are an RV traveler and hate the hustle bustle of the RV parks. You don't need to worry about anything!
The main RV site contains everything you need for a long stay of fun in Santa Fe and its incredible surrounding area!
You have 30 and 50 amp plugs with water and sewer! no need to wait in long lines for the RV dumps.
If you are a van dweller that this is a good option for you too!
For the privacy and security you are offered this camp is incredible. Next time you gon to Santa Fe stay a couple nights! you won't regret it!
Perfect location to see santa fe.
This was a great place to stay. Loved the quiet, beautiful desert, close to the Plaza and other sites to visit are nearby. Great host. We definitely hope to visit again.
Easy setup in a safe & beautiful lo
Edward was a great host. The site is easy to get to. It's a level cement pad next to his home. The site has full hook ups and had everything we needed for a great stay. We were pulling a 17' trailer but it will accommodate a larger RV. This was a very quiet and private site in a beautiful open area. The sunsets were gorgeous. We met Edward on arrival and he was very nice. He provided us with local restaurant info & some other local tips. Don't hesitate to camp here - we felt very safe. We'll be back for sure.
Great quiet stop close to town
The site was exactly as described by Edward...quiet, clean and level with hookups for water, electricity and sewer. Edward conferred with us about our needs in advance and was waiting for us when we arrived to be sure we okay. He even provided us with an adaptor for the electricity in our van.
Excellent location, great host!
This was an excellent spot for our fully equipped RV! The site was level, it was very private and Edward is an excellent host! We spoke with him a few times during our stay and he gave us some great local spots to visit. Even recommendations for our drive on travel day out of Santa Fe! This is a great location as it is only 10 minutes into Santa Fe and also allows for great day trips into Albuquerque. We enjoyed the area for our first visit, thanks Edward!
Great location even better host
This was our first Hip Camp experience and what a great way to start. Ed was a wonderful host despite all the corona issues it was a great location to social distance and being in a safe spot. Not to mention Ed served us coffee in the morning and scrubbed our trailer down for us. .Okay he wasn't that good but we enjoyed great conversation lamenting the passage of John Prine . He gave us good directions to some great biking places and you can hike right from the property down the Arroyo. Good night sky sunsets and all were wonderful. Highly recommended
Ed was very welcoming, and helpfull. The full service site was very easy to get into. We would highly recommend 10 min from Santa Fe. It was so much nicer then being in a crowded R V park. Thank you Ed.
