Camp on the enchanted Wild Horse Mesa, sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains all around, in southern Colorado. The campsite is located about 20 minutes from the Historic San Luis Valley. Conveniantly located close to the great Sand Dunes National Park, the Zapata Water Fall, Ft. Garland Museum, Sanchez Resevior and Aligator farm, near Alamosa and don't forget, wild horses freely roam the area. You can be isolated or very much involved in the many things to do or see. The area is steeped in pioneer history, wild west shootouts and Indian raids. You'll want to visit again and agian.
