This land historically has been spared of overdevelopment and sits among a section of property which originally was intended to be an alternative off the grid community and wildlife sanctuary. It has recently been more protected as it is adjacent to the newly named Rio Grande National Monument land, which this property has direct access to, as well as other BLM land. We have enjoyed our personal wilderness retreat and had pondered ways to share it, and when we heard of Hipcamp, we decided that this was the way to start.
