This was my favorite glamping hipcamp experience ever. My husband, dog, and I stayed here on a cross country move/road trip west. We originally planned to stay one night but after seeing the Yoga Yurta, meeting Greg and Robbie, and seeing the rest of the property and surrounding land, we extended our stay another night! The Yoga Yurta is a beautiful place to spend the night and has a private spot to have a bonfire, watch the stars, and take a relaxing outdoor shower (with hot water!). It even has a great kitchen and a real outdoor toilet. It was such a peaceful and tranquil stay. Shortly after arriving, Greg was kind enough to give us a tour of their beautiful property, where we saw their huge vegetable garden (when vegetables are growing they are available for campers to enjoy!), a small orchard, a small vineyard, and other cool spots like a place to play outdoor ping pong (even at night). Outside of the property, there are lots of nearby hikes and cute little places for food, so still lots to do even if you decide you want to leave Sunny Mellow Eco Village. We are so glad we found Yoga Yurta and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

We were able to find the location very easily with Gregory's help and guidance once we got there. We had a trailer with us and he was so accomodating helping us park our truck.

Gregory does an amazing job on his property! You can just tell how much love and pride he has with his space and it just glows through every perfectly designed space. We were on a long road trip across the country and it was so amazing to get a good night's rest in a cozy yurt with our dogs.

He had a little map of the grounds waiting for us and we spent the next morning exploring the lookout, the treehouse, and all other creative nooks and crannies this space had to offer.

What a beautiful magical place, the setting, accommodations and hosts were beyond lovely. I feel like we entered a a secret garden with trails, a mini orchard and vineyard, and everything we needed they had the only thing we needed was the food we needed to cook. We cannot wait to return and a stay in this beautiful place!

The Feeling is likewise! You and your children were awesome! Next time, maybe the garden, orchard and vineyard will be producing and you can pick straight from there, as do all our summer guests, for your meals! :-) Greg and Robbie

Greg was an incredible host, willing to meet us right out of the car and show us around. The whole property is amazing, with lots of places to explore and relax, on top of that, the yurt and the outdoor kitchen were sparkling clean and a great space to hang out in, we will definitely be coming back to spend more time here!

Our time at Gregory's Sunny Mellow Yoga Yurta was magical, whimsical, beautiful, fun and convenient. Gregory is a lovely host, so warm, welcoming and helpful. When we arrived he showed us all around the property including the vineyard, the orchard, the ping pong table hangout area, the fire pit and the solar panels. There's also a cute outdoor shower and flushing toilet area with a little courtyard that goes with the yoga yurta. The yurt itself was so cozy and comfortable. It was a really windy night but we were still quite warm and happy. The little kitchen area next to the yurt was great. We made a full meal and Gregory recommended we pick some of his fresh lavash to go with our salmon. Yum! :) It's super close to the highway..a way more exciting stop on a road trip than a hotel. Totally recommed!!

The extensive private outdoor space was great -- you don't just have the yurt to yourself, but also the outdoor kitchen, grill area, and restroom. This made it a perfect stopover while traveling cross-country with two active dogs.

Its hard to know where to start with all the incredible parts of the yoga yurt, so ill just take you through the whole experience. When you get there, you see the cool custom gate and know youre in for an awesome time. this place is such a perfect little artsy compound. We pulled in (parking for two) and were quickly greated by Greg. Greg reminded me of Gordon Ramsays if his whole thing was being incredibly nice and warm and welcoming. I wasnt surprised to find out later he's a massage therapist (he just has that relaxing energy). Greg took us on an awesome impromptu walk through of the whole property. he took us through the garden, we saw a meteorite that leveled half of his hill (even the aliens want to stay here), the ping pong patio, the other awesome properties you can book, the vineyard (where you can bring your dinner to eat among the grapes) the silent orchard (apples plums pears) and back to the yoga yurt with its overlook outdoor recliners. The kitchen was perfect, there was a grill you could use as well as a hot plate and all the pots and pans and utensils you could need to make a nice meal. Then the yoga yurt itself seems like something an A-list star would camp in. the bed was great, there were a bunch of phone chargers, and the dome on top was a great view for stargazing. (the night we stayed, there was crazy wind and greg contacted us very politely because he had to close the little top dome so it didnt blow off. he was so nice and quick and didnt want to interrupt our privacy at all. ALSO the outdoor shower is so awesome. it may be a little out in the open for some (it does butt up agains the house and theres a window (curtained) not far from it. But the wood slats of the shower cover average heighted people from the shoulders down. outdoor showers should become the next big thing everywhere because it was so nice to have hot water and a cool breeze (and theres no curfew). overall, if you want to do some glamping in a little oaisis of artfullness, the yoga yurt is your new favorite place you get to look forward to staying at.
