I stayed here with my dog on our way across country and I am so glad we did! Shelly and Bri were courteous and helpful and the property was really lovely. You could really see the love and creativity they put into each "room" they made. The spaces are far apart enough to feel privacy but close enough to feel like a small community. We stayed in the dharma bus for one night and enjoyed an evening walk down the ravine. There were a couple of dogs there already and they were very gentle with my nervous dog. I read a review where someone said their dog got cactus quills and sure enough, mine did too from walking in the ravine, but unlike the previous reviewer, it was not an emergency. I just pulled them out and the dog immediately recovered. I would definitely stay again for a few nights but would try one of the yurts for easy climbing in and out of.

Amazing amazing stay in the beautiful mountains! We arrived just at sunset - even the drive to the place was beautiful. Definitely a rocky road to the actual site but trust yourself and your car and you'll be fine. Actual site was spacious with a large private deck and camp kitchen. Shower and bathroom facilities were also great. Shelly and Bri were amazing and welcoming hosts. The van is as adorable as it looks, and quite comfortable. Also enjoyed the 2 different hammocks and lawn chairs. I will definitely be back to explore hiking, yoga, and other experiences here.

We only stayed one night in the Shanti Community and it simply was not enough! The location is incredible, with views better than we could have dreamed and Shelly and Bri were wonderful hosts. Our little desert getaway was everything and more and we hope to be back to stay again in this peaceful little community soon. :)
