Our Desert Homestead - RV Site
We have one acre of desert that we are turning into a homestead. With the panoramic mountain views and no neighbors but us, you will feel that you are in the middle of nowhere, even though we are only 10 minutes from a big commercial area. The stars at night go on forever in one direction, and in the other shimmer the beautiful lights of the city of Albuquerque.

On our off grid homestead, you are welcome to visit with the chickens, take a desert nature walk full of cactus, birds and rabbits or build a camp fire (winds allowing). With a 10 - 30 minute drive you can be at Petroglyph National Monument, Old Town Albuquerque and Coronado Historical Site.
This RV site has a sewage dump and we are more than happy to pump you water. However, we are completely off grid, so we do not offer any eletricity or internet at this time. In addition to RVs, this site is appropriate for pop-up campers and car top tents.
Please note that we are on a dirt road off of a dirt road. These roads can sometimes be difficult for lower cars or some types of RVs.

Really nice people and they were very accommodating to us and our trailer. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully go back again in the future.
We had a great experience during our stay at The Desert Homestead. We arrived late in the evening in a crazy rain storm. The Raki’s were outside in the rain helping us park our teardrop trailer. We were allowed to pull in and get right to relaxing and warming up. The spot was perfectly level. The next morning Khalil helped us get turned around and settled. He is a champ at helping park an RV. He did the same when it was time to head out. Each morning, once we were up and about, he would ask if we needed anything. I loved the balance of privacy and getting to know the family. They are genuinely interested in being the best hosts ever. I also appreciate the life they are building as a family. The homestead is so beautiful and peaceful. Each morning we could see the balloons flying and at night we could see the whole city. Thank you! I hope we get an opportunity to come back.

Would Absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. The host were great. I am new to campaign and they gave me a ton of helpful information. I had a couple of issues which they help me fix and they were his hospital bill as you could be absolutely loved it
Heidi and Khalil were so kind and accommodating during our stay. Their dogs were so sweet and the views were absolutely incredible. It’s close to town but doesn’t feel like it at all. We will make it a point to come back next time we’re in NM. Thanks again!
My girlfriend and I had an awesome time staying with Heidi and Khalil. They were super accommodating, showed us around their house and property, and I even got invited in to watch an episode of the amazing race with their family 😊. I would highly recommend!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this site. We were looking for a place near Albuquerque but more out in the dessert. This was perfect. Would stay there again.
Great Host. No worries. Khalil and Heidi went above and beyond to accommodate us and our 31 foot fifth wheel. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great view of Albuquerque. Secluded but yet close to everything. We would definitely stay again.
The hosts are incredible people and you’ll love their amazing views! Heidi and her family are very accommodating and even moved around things to make our camp site perfect. Our little kiddo loved the outdoor things to do and we enjoyed relaxing under the stars. We even cooked dinner over their fire pit.
