Great stay! The casita is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple: cozy but spacious enough to store luggage/gear and move around in. Samantha and Kyle were lovely hosts- willing to help me find fun things to do around Socorro and also were fun to chat with. They have a plethora of animals, all of whom are friendly and safe to interact with. I would recommend a stay with them if you are passing through!

Samantha and her husband were pretty awesome and kind with us. We were adviced by them on how to move around. Their friendly dogs made us feel as we were at home.
We highly recommend to camp with them. They also offer a cozy cabin if you don’t want to pitch your tent.

Samantha and Kyle are great hosts! I camped here in my 27 foot Airstream trailer. The animals are cute and friendly. I visited the Very Large Array of radio telescopes about an hour away. Also the Salinas Pueblo Missions. There are plenty of stores nearby. The night sky is fabulous!

My 27 foot Airstream.Assorted animals.Mr. Chicken. The Very Large Array. They filmed the movie 'Contact' here. Very interesting place.

Hosts are very nice, love the little farm. Our dog could roam free (which we loved after being in the car all day)

This site is not quite as private as we expected. The spot to camp was quite small and there were lots of ants on it. We ended up driving a bit further south to camp.

I'm sorry that you did not find the site pleasant. We are working on the ants, due to the farm animals, we are limited on the counter measures available to us, but we are working on it. Thanks for your feedback regarding the bench, etc. I will work on putting those at the site. Once again, Im sorry that your visit was unpleasant.
