Jackolope cabin is centrally located on the ranch, it has 1 master bedroom and 2 lofts. The master bedroom has a queen mattress the living room sofa turns into a queen mattress and there are 4 cots in the loft. The cabin is solar powered so there is electricity, water, and gas for the provided heater. the water source is a 275 gallon tank which is filled up prior to your stay. Due to efforts for keeping the rental price down an extra 275 gallon fill up can be purchased in the extras tab at the time of booking. A camper and or tent are allowed with your stay at the cabin. All roads on the ranch lead to the cabin so exploring the 355 acre ranch is a blast.
* Due to the upcoming hunting season, maintenance, and development Jackolope Ranch will be closed from October 1 to February 1. I want to thank everyone who came out for there reviews and fun times! See you next year!!!!

Nice peaceful spot not too far but still tucked away to make you feel like your in the middle of the woods. Has a great mix of treeline, fields and a valley. Wild life definitely here found signs of deer and a bear. Saw 6 elk and heard the turkey all around us!

The cabin was awesome and rustic. The host was really nice and helpful. We had a great experience. The was a lot of great hiking near by.
This is a beautiful, praceful ranch. We heard the elk bungling and the coyote howling. We stayed from Saturday til Saturday. The first weekend was Labor day weekend and the campsites around the cabin were packed and noisy. The sites are not super close, so were it not for the partying we would have felt more secluded. After the weekend we had the whole ranch to ourselves andnit was secluded and peaceful with a wonderful sunset and campfire each night. We did have some issues with the solar...the battery does not hold a charge for long and hardly heats up the water heater, but if you arebused to camping this should not be a big problem. We also had issues with the heater not staying on, however Robert did tey on multiple occasions to fix it. He and his family were very nice and responded to any requests we had. Cell service is sketchy, and if you have Verizon you will not have any service. Overall this is a beautiful ranch, and a cute little cabin, but do not expect a fancy hotel. It is a step up from camping. With a little clean up of the property and the cabin itself, this place could be amazing. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, if you realize that, again, it is a step up from camping and not fancy. Thank you Robert and Steven for a relaxing week!
Beautiful spot. My son really enjoyed the river and zipline. Robert was super helpful.
Jackalope Ranch was amazing, the sights and trails were also great and they all lead back to the cabin. The cabin took care of all our camping needs, very specious and comfortable for our group of six. Robert is a great host and was available for any needs, he checked in on us a few times through our stay. He also invited us to watch a movie and a UFC pay-per-view on an outdoor screen. I am already looking at the schedule to plan our next family camping trip. I would highly recommended Jackalope Ranch to anyone looking to have a great time!!!
