The Duck House Glamping Cabin is located north of the town of Taos NM, down in the valley of Arroyo Hondo lush fields and livestock. The cabin is on our property next to the pond and the Rio Hondo which leads down to the Rio Grande 5 minutes away where there is rafting, paddling, swimming, fishing and the Black Rock Hot Springs.

We have an outdoor shower and a chemical toilet. We offer a $20 gift certificate to our restaurant (Orlando's NM Cafe) and the price is set with no cleaning fees.

Unfortunately we don't allow pets only because we have 3 dogs on the property and don't know how they may get along (so sorry). There is NO wi-fi and Verizon is the best bet for cell phone service. There is a market and bar up the road about a mile. We are 15 minutes to the town of Taos, 30 minutes to Taos Ski Valley.

This glamping cabin was so welcoming and serene. Hanging out at the table on the eastfacing patio, watching the life of the pond with the backdrop of the mountains was so relaxing. I was lucky to witness some of the amazing sunsets NM has to offer! When I was willing to leave the place it was very centrally located to everything I wanted to explore- Enchanted Circle, Taos and the surrounding area, and the John Dunn Bridge. A heated shower in the outdoors is definitely something I'd do again... this cabin had everything needed for my first glamping experience! I'm not sure I'll want to camp in a tent again!

Ducks, paddle boards and views! One of the holes at the disc golf course- Mallette Canyon Park, Red RiverSunset views around the pond- the cabin is in the background. The Duck House Glamping Cabin
