This property was purchased in January 2021. This land has epic views of the Bosque peak and the Manzano Mountains. The Rio Grande river is 15.4 miles a way. Epic Rio del Oro Campsite

Avoid

Absolutely would not recommend. We’re still not even sure if we were at the right spot — as nothing was marked whatsoever (not even a cheap sign). After driving back and forth for 15 minutes, we finally found an area that was passable with a slight “entrance”, but it was about 300 feet before the location pin that was given to us. Again, absolutely no indicators on if this was the HipCamp. We were also given ZERO instructions apart from the incorrect pin, so we reached out to the host and she ghosted us. I understand not responding at that moment, but messaging us the next day to just check if we found it okay is the bare minimum. The area is also not the greatest in terms of safety, so knowing we could’ve been camping on someone else’s property is a big issue. Everything just felt so low effort which is a shame given the fact that good hosts and dope spots is what makes HipCamp so great. Keep in mind, there are also pretty extreme restrictions for the nature of the spot (no generators, no campfires, etc.) so all in all, not worth it.

I don't know because I couldn't find the place, the location on the map provided wasn't accurate. Reached out to the owner and got no response.
