We are in the beginning stages of building an Urban Homestead Artist Residency out of a fixer-upper property in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. For now we have an outdoor patio that doubles as a tent platform for campers. We have a spot for vans or small RV's to pull in, back out,  but only an extension cord for power, no official hook ups. Our little vintage camper is the coziest spot. It has an AC unit and and space heater.  Sleeps 2 perfectly as long as you are not over 6ft tall.

Outhouse is for everyone's use..  Backyard is big and open and still being developed.

Property is dog friendly, but you must pick up after your dog and be up to date on shots. We have a newfoundland dog who is 10 years old and is a gentle giant at 140lbs.

We are also a workaway host site as well and hope to eventually offer a stay in this Desert Oasis to musicians and artists coming to TorC for the inspiration of the desert and the healing hot spring water that runs under the downtown district of our town. Our property is a one mile walk to the hot-spring district. Truth or Consequences has a growing artist community and we would love our property to be somewhere musicians and artist can come to be inspired.

We are in the throes of building an urban farm with organic beds  ... And in our big dreams we eventually want to be able to use the property for a live music concert series and small community gatherings, all with a view of Turtle Back Mountain, that we have the glorious honor of seeing right out our back door every day.

We recommend soak in the hot springs at least once while you are here. Spas range from $5 - $35 for an hour soak depending on where you go.

Locally we have a wonderful local brewery that has live music every weekend, we have art galleries, yoga studios, and in the summers there is a farmers market every Saturday and a shuttle to the lake. There are hiking trails up Turtle Mountain , rock hounding is amazing. Surrounding and beyond.. Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, The Gila National Forest, Lincoln, Silver City, Santa Fe, Roswell.. and more

 LGBTQ friendly .
