A great place to exhale
What a gift during these crazy times. We were the only campers but there is lots of room. Felt like such a private and peaceful escape! So quiet and lots of wildlife. Dupree was kind and very helpful. Can’t wait to come back again.
This place was such a wonderful stop on my trip. Depree was there to greet me upon arrival and was very helpful. It was such a peaceful place to relax and reset. Would highly recommend!
Camping near the meadow
This campsite is in a very beautiful location. It was very easy to get to and we were able to park right at the campsite. The campsite has a cleared area for your tent and chairs if you bring them. There is a fire ring at that campsite, and a water faucet is about 100 feet away to refill your water jugs. The campsite is about a couple hundred feet away from the host's house. This proximity along with the gated entrance is convenient in that we were able to leave all of our gear without worrying about it as we were away throughout the day. The host was very nice, asked us if we needed anything but other than that let us be.
One of the best parts of this campsite is that we were able to hike around the property up to a meadow where the property meets the Lincoln National Forest Line. In the meadow there were wild horses grazing which was quite magical to see. The area around this site is very pretty. Lots of green grass and trees.
Beautiful private campsite in the m
Beautiful forested mountain setting, very private. We were the only ones there apart from our very gracious hostess (there appear to be only two places where you can realistically park an rv, so it can't really ever be crowded). My wife said she felt much safer on Dupree's property than she did camping in the national forest down the road.
A magical experience that I can’t believe I stumbled upon through this app. It was an honor to be allowed to stay on this reservation and meet Depree. She was so kind and helped with anything I needed. Her land has so much positive energy within it and I will surely be back.
