Enjoy a large private proerty that butts up to the Rio Grande. This property is near the Whitmore wild life preserve in Valencia County. Kid friendly and dog friendly. A stone's throw away from the Bosque del Apache wildlife preserve. Cranes, other migratory birds and predatory birds frequent the area. The ponds and swamp are unusual for New Mexican landscapes.

Very nice. Rose, I'll probably stay until the 7th of May. I had to use my money to get the Porsche towed. I'll pay you through the 7th on Fri, May 1st.

The ponds are pretty and the site is fairly easy to get off the freeway. It is less remote than expected, and unfortunately the bugs at night made the campsite a little unpleasant. In addition, there was a smell of sulfur on parts of the property. The campsite itself is pretty and convenient but we would not stay again.

It's a wild, private spot not far from town. When we were there the fall colors were beautiful. How generous of Rose to share her land with others.
