The cabin's location is behind my home, which allows for easy access to the full bathroom (mid October - April)Eclectic Library, including many regional booksPicnic table and chairsHammocks In consideration of those with allergies, my cats and dog never go into the cabin.

This charming and historic cabin was once a bunkhouse. Legend has it that "Billy the Kid" slept here. After all, his step dad William Antrim owned the house next door.

The Cabin has been completely renovated, outfitted and upgraded over the last several years. It is a medley of visual delights, nestled under a giant walnut tree and surrounded in a wonderland of flowering gardens (March - October). Large windows frame a stunning and unobstructed view of the Gila National Forest's Mogollon Mountains in southwest New Mexico. My property can accommodate up to seven adults. The Pond Hut is covered in vines, surrounded with flowers and next to the lower pond. It is waterproof and has fabric walls. In it is a double bed, a composting toilet, night stands/shelves with reading lights (USB ports). This is a "Glamping Experience" (glamorous camping).  The Lotus is also available, it is a 16' round tent/yurt. It has a queen bed, composting toilet, chairs, dresser, antique wash stand and much more. Both glamping units have electricity and wifi. Newly added is Hummers Haven. A single bed, night stand, composting toilet, wifi, no electricity and 6 hummingbird feeders. Dozens of hummingbirds feed throughout the day. Right now they are consuming almost 2 gallons a day.

Guests have access to the many places to sit and enjoy the oasis. Swing on the bench beside the Koi ponds and admire the lilies and lotus blossoms while listening to the waterfall. Enjoy the shade of the porch, the flower and vegetable gardens, walk the Autumnal Labyrinth or take a snooze in the hammock under the apple trees. Explore the galleries, beginning with the sculpture courtyard. The brick lined path to a rock building that was once a water cistern, has been transformed into an exquisite gallery. Behr Art Galleries features three generations of the Behr family artwork, and represents many regional artists . The walls are adorned with a unique collection of art, crafts and gifts from near and far.Workshops and Art Retreats are available in clay, copper embossing, mosaic and gourd art.Hiking trails are out the front gate and down the road a bit and very close to the Fish Hatchery/fishing pond.

Other things to note:

My property is at the end of a tree lined road and 300 yards from Whitewater Creek. This is an animal lovers paradise. The horses mow and fertilize the land, the ducks and chickens walk around during the day and sleep in their coop at night. The cats will roll onto their back for a scratch and Zsa Zsa the dog is always ready to demonstrate her tree climbing skills. The front gate is kept closed for privacy as well as to keep Zsa Zsa from jumping on your car.Located in Glenwood, New Mexico, there are hot springs, labyrinths, galleries and ghost towns. This is the perfect place for relaxing, sightseeing, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, birding and gazing at the starry starry night sky.*There are restaurants in Glenwood, Alma and Mogollon that provide wonderful meals, some as close as 1/2 mile from the cabin. * No restaurant is open for dinner on: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The convenience store closes at 7 p.m.*The Glenwood Tavern is open intermittently. When they are open they have a limited inventory of beer, wine and hard liquor. Best to BYOB.

Absolutely blown away! This handcrafted oasis beat all my expectations. Beth was such a thoughtful, caring, creative host with great passion for all that she does. The artistry that spans every detail of her property is a testament to her creative spirit and drive. Some of the stuff she’s made is seriously amazing. Beth has thought through every detail and built her sustainable slice of paradise with guests in mind. I felt so at home. Lovers of art, animals, and the great outdoors will surely find some comfort here.

Beth did all that stone and tile work around the stairs, and made the railing, and soo much more all over the property. We took a walk along the creek in the morning. It was like slipping into another world.Big bed with lots of great light

This spot is the perfect location tucked away in the Gila National Forest. Beth is one of the most welcoming hosts. When I arrived she greeted me and welcomed me immediately into her home to tell me about the property and show me her beautiful home. She offered me a warm shower and turned on the heating blanket in my sleeping accommodations for me (yes - it comes with a heating blanket!) I was skeptical that sleeping in a yurt in the middle of November would be warm, but with the heating blanket, it was the perfect temperature all evening!

Beth really thinks of everything. She provides coffee and snacks when you wake up in the morning that are set out right in your yurt or cabin. This allows you to wake up on your own schedule and start your day whenever you would like. As I was getting prepared to leave, she offered to show me the gallery. DO NOT LEAVE without seeing the gallery! It is stunning. She has the her work as well as work of local artists on display.

This place really is a hidden gem! I would have loved to stay there longer and would recommend everyone stay there if they are passing through the forest!

Pond House in Glenwood NM is an amazing place. Beth, owner, is an artist and has two galleries. My niece and I fixed dinner in the outdoor kitchen then drank wine around the campfire (got to leave our brand on the log stumps) then relaxed in the hot tub. It is worth the trip just to meet her animals (dog, horses, parrots, cats, chickens).

Beth, and Zsa Zsa her dog were incredible hosts. Helpful directions to the home upfront and a greeting as we entered the property. We were given a tour of our private spaces as well as the rest of the property and we immediately felt at home. What a beautiful place, from the gardens and ponds to the star filled sky above while enjoying the hot tub. Cozy and clean, warm and inviting. We had an exceptional experience and plan to visit again some day.

I can't say enough about Beth's place. It's absolutely magical. She was a considerate host, and we loved the outdoor shower, hot tub, and whimsical style. Her property is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. We stayed there to check out the Gila National Forest, but I would love to go back just to hang out at Beth's!

Great for close couples. There's a toilet behind a partition in the room itself, along with a sink and vanity area. The shower is outdoors around the curtain by the hot tub. Beth also set up a great outdoor kitchen area, which was well-appointed, easy to use, and frankly just delightful. I didn't have reception there (AT&T) but there was wifi.

What a special place! Beth was so kind and lovely. Around every corner and behind every door there was something artfully thoughtful, funky, or both. The cabin was cozy, unique, and full of life--which includes many house plants. The host has made a wonderful indoor-outdoor experience with warmth and vibrancy.
