Resting along the Chain of Craters, the Land of Fire & Ice in the Land of Enchantment, enjoy nearly 60 acres of high desert on an Elk migration path.

Nearby, there is hiking at El Morro Nat'l Monument. The Sculpture Garden @ Ancient Way Cafe is 1/2 mile long. The cafe is currently closed d/t CV19, or perhaps visit the Ice Caves, dress accordingly. A little drive over to Candy Kitchen; see the wolves at Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, closed Mondays. Many of these places may not be available, please call for appointments & information.

Or just kick back & listen to nothing but the wind & maybe bugs, lots of bugs, & birds.

If interested in off-grid living & self sustenance, get your feet dirty creating cob structures, help repair & set fence, there's always something that needs to be done. Any help is always appreciated & will be met with a trough to clean up & a hearty meal, seasonally appropriate.

Mind you, if you have gotten this far & are still interested. 4WD is highly recommended. Monsoon, you may be able to get in, but getting out is another matter. My ranch is REMOTELY RURAL. Serious, back road, dirt & gravel. I am 13 miles OFF the blacktop. Watch for cows & Elk, either one will hurt you. Share the road, it's 1.5 lanes.
