This is a artistic and quiet ranch-style lodge on a working farm. It is clean and furnishings are lovingly placed. This is a unique getaway for artists, writers & couples who appreciate nature and respect a sarene environment. This is the cherished home of my daughter and her husband and is complete with a record collection/player, wifi and flat screen tv w/cable. This lodge is located on our 200 acre sustainable farm. There is a manicured yard around the house, surrounded by 19 acres of woodland that is open for exploration. The house does have 3 window A/C units, but with roof to floor windows facing southwest, it still can be warm in mid-summer. It has a working fireplace. The front of the house has views of animal pastures and fields. We raise sheep, cows and chickens. Up our farm lane is our own Farm Market that sells the products we raise and those from farmers we personally know. There is Supper Club that serves dinner Friday and Saturday nights (which will be open sometime in this summer). Across the main road just a 2 minute walk away from the lodge, there is a canal path along the Delaware River (See Delaware River Canal Park info) that connects to several quaint river towns. Just out the other entrance of the farm is the Wescott Preserve. These are both within a very short walking distance. A 5 minute drive down route 29 is where Bull Island Recreation area has a boat launch and allows fishing and picnics.

The vibe at Lodge on Sustainable Farm
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Visiting the lodge at Tullamore Farms was a fantastic experience. Taking a weekend trip to the lodge is the perfect get away if you are looking to have a good experience in an open outdoor space with the sound of animals, and access to near by trails and outdoor activities. This lodge is a perfect way to make the best of a rainy afternoon or evening. Lighting the fire and grabbing a cozy blanket to listen to jazz on the record player is extremely soothing.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a simple breakfast or decadent baked goods, all you have to do is bring the groceries. There are two rooms available with comfortable mattresses and bedding, each room holding plenty of sunlight. In the living room there is a cozy couch, flat screen TV and floor to ceiling windows creating the perfect ambiance. The bathroom has a shower, bathtub, washer, dryer, and plenty of soaps, shampoos, conditioners for your needs. The house is stocked with clean towels so there is no need to pack your own.
The highlight of the property is the spacious backyard, equipped with a fire pit, benches, lanterns, and citronella candles. During our stay we spotted rabbits, deer, and ground hogs. We had the pleasure of playing a good game of settlers of Catan (a group favorite) and a few leisure games of catch! The options are endless with the amount of green space.
The lodge is located on several acres owned by the host Jeanmarie. There is a functioning farm that is well kept on site however, there is no interactions with animals or the farm facilities, outside of the farm store. Though you may spot a few chickens or sheep roaming the grounds freely, like we did. The farm store is quant and carries a variety of meat, oils, and dairy products. While visiting the lodge you might want to check out the Delaware River Canal, local art shops, scenic preserves, or antique shops!
If you need anything else the lodge's lovely host JeanMarie will guide you in the right direction. She is wealth of knowledge and has plenty to share with her guest!
