The cabin is on our private property shared with our family home; located 40 yards from the main house at the water's edge. PLEASE UNDERSTAND that you are NOT in a remote location, though very secluded.
We welcome couples looking for peace and quiet and a reconnection with nature; quiet, mindful guests with a caretaker philosophy for the land and yourselves. Because of the open body of water, and the other couples on the lake seeking peace and quiet, we rarely host children under 13 years old. Extra guest charge applies to any guest after the first two.
We ask you to leave our property as pristine as you find it so that those that follow you may enjoy fully. The cabin is surrounded by peaceful waters with an abundance of nature. It has an amazingly comfortable hammock for two. Shower, bathroom as well as daily kayaks and paddle board use included with your booking mid - March through November.
Please note that the property and amenities are shared with my family, and with other guests. At times children will be present. We maintain a place of peaceful recreation.
The composting toilet has a separate tank for liquids and this is clean at check in. Guests must maintain the liquids tank, following emptying instructions. Simple instructions are provided.
Firepit available at sunset - 11pm. Firewood provided; small fires please. S'mores welcome!
CHECK OUT: clean urine tank, empty any stinky trash, leave cabin tidy.
We do not offer credits or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain, shine or humidity. AC is not available in the cabin.

Robin's property is beautiful and the tiny cabin was very clean with a super comfortable bed. There were more supplies than we had expected (small fridge, glasses, paper towels) We enjoyed exploring the lake on paddle boards, fishing, and watching the birds migrate. Very relaxing place to stay for a weekend!
