This is bear country, so you will need to plan to keep your food in the car at night. Bears don’t like people, so they will avoid you. However, they do get hungry and will raid your cooler while you are sleeping. Other wildlife that you may see here are deer, fox, turkey, bald eagle, snapping turtles (rare...but I have seen them), coyotes (more common to hear them), heron, ducks and all kinds of birds.
The campsite is ON the river...anywhere you want to put up your tent. It’s probably about an acre site. Typically, the river is quite lazy and is only knee deep. We sit in low beach chairs IN the river. These are provided.
We also have a camping shed with available gear for Hipcampers. For your use, at no additional charge, are coolers, water coolers, an ez-up canopy, a screen house, complete first aid kits, dish soap, bleach, camp pots and pans, towels, sponges, paper towels, fishing poles, and camp stools.

Best camping experience in years
Tina’s place is amazing. I have been camping for years and haven’t came across such private and beautiful campsite yet. Trust blindly and just go for it. Tina was superhost in every sense. She and her son helped to get us all required equipments like grilling pan, wood, raft etc. check in and check out time was super flexible.
Best part of this campsite is river right next to your tent. We literally spent whole day just sitting in river which has clean and clear water and depth is hardly upto knee. I have 2 year old kid and he enjoyed the most.
We will be coming again definitely soon.
Thanks Tina and Elijah for your great hospitality.
Loved every minute on your campsite.
Tina was amazing and extremely helpful. She offered many ideas for weekend activities. The shed of camping amenities was a huge plus! Tina was able to be as present or as absent as we wanted, would definitely reccpmend.
Remarkable scenery! Had more guests than expected show and all were accommodated as per our wonderful Host, Tina. Thank you for the upmost hospitality and the added help from her gracious son. I recommend this to others thinking of reserving a beautiful location with added amenities where space is certainly not a question. It was such a great experience, we just had to book again. Thanks again from my family. See you soon
The best weekend ever!
The host was phenomenal! She went above and beyond by providing us with extra care and support throughout our trip! I would recommend her to any and everyone because she is very humble, hospitable, friendly, caring and so much more. Tina and her son did a fantastic job with helping us set up when we got to the site as well as getting our stuff together when we were ready to leave. I'm definitely going to go back here!
Heaven on earth! host is amazing!
This place is absolute heaven! My family and i have been looking for "our" spot to always go to and we finally have! The host Tina is such a sweet soul and VERY accommodating. Will be telling literally everyone about it! A little piece of heaven! Very clean and the river is beautiful! Best camping trip we have ever been on!
What a wonderful place! How fun and rare to find a place to camp that is so beaut and just your group?! Look forward to the river, lots of space to hang out and great help from the camp hosts. Things to know: the hill out of the campsite seems to get taller if you have to run up to the bathroom or your car a few times in a row...though packing in and out was easier because the camp hosts help you out with their mini tractor!
We can’t wait to go back.
