Happy winter, y'all!!
We are located in the rolling hills of bucolic Delaware Township, NJ. During your stay with us, you are welcome to enjoy our creek and hiking trails that wind through 5.6 wooded acres. There are crawfish to discover, blackberries and raspberries to pick mid-summer, as well as farm fresh eggs and seasoned firewood for sale. Our little 'campground' is quiet and peaceful. I always called it our little oasis, and when it came time for an official name it happened to be springtime when the green "popped" out of the winter browns, hence "Emerald Oasis". We are happy to share our little spot with all of you now.
Fall update: It is a wooded site, and it is not just the leaves that are falling. We have several large Hickory, Oak and Black Walnut trees. Good news: the nuts are edible and delicious. Bad news: acorns are not edible or delicious, they are all loud on your roof, and will hurt if they land on you. Please plan accordingly.
Note: Firewood "bundle" is unlimited.
Hillside is for any size RV, travel trailer, pop-up, etc. There is a fire pit, grill to share, table and chairs. Spot is pretty level. There is a water and electric* hook-up, as well as a "dump station" available up the driveway at our house. *household 15amp with 30amp adapter - will run electric and MAY run AC depending on your rig.
Directly behind us is Dilt's Park - a 60 acre farm park with a playground, tennis and basketball courts, restroom facilities and trails perfect for running/biking/dog walking. The surrounding area is quite historic, with regards to the Revolutionary War. Washington Crossing State park is just about 10 minutes down the road, along the Delaware River. There are tubing and kayaking opportunities at multiple locations and parks along the river. There are several river towns within a short drive - the closest being Lambertville, NJ about 7 minutes away. Just across a pedestrian/car bridge is New Hope, PA in historic Bucks County. A little further, about 30 minutes north, is Frenchtown, NJ. All of our river towns abound with great restaurants/cafes, artisan shoppes, and local 'flair'. All are accessible from the Delaware River canal path - a 60+ mile, multi-use towpath that is level, wide and well-maintained.
If you are a Boondockers Welcome member, please check us out on their site. We are listed as "Creekside Camping".

Jennifer was extremely pleasant to deal with and communication was FAST and thoughtful. I would definitely not only recommend her site, but we look forward to going again.
Jennifer & Dave were gracious hosts and we had a terrific weekend. The site was perfect for our little getaway and their attention to detail was amazing-they made us feel welcome and we especially enjoyed the hike up the creek to the park - Definitely a spot we wish to visit again soon!
The campsite was an enjoyable experience, we got there friday 7/26 and left on sunday 7/28. Jsennifer and her husband were very pleasnt, and accomodating. The site was clean, we hiked along the creek up to where there was a park. Eventhough they have limited spots as of today, they have more sites planned for their business venture. We had the only hook up of electricity on the site, but they are working on that too. The only thing they didnt have was the sites numbered, so when you pull in you know where to go. But a short phone call and jennifer was there to assist. We are planning soon to go back again, cause its far enough, and close enough for us, and a weekend getaway.
Thanks to our hosts for a lovely place to stay. The land is pretty and beautifully kept. We have a big fifth wheel and dually and fit well. The suburban area is idyllic with Lambertville and New Hope, PA close by. The hosts, Jennifer and Dave are friendly, hospitable, and responsive. We greatly appreciated their hospitality and accommodation. We hope to stay here whenever we are in the area.
A very peaceful private sight convenient with great hosts!
Emerald Oasis was exactly what we needed! It felt like a fairyland with the creek to meandor and walk in the morning! We were even greeted with a flash of a fox running though the lands! We got to stay in our Aliner, comfortable with Electricity & Water to hook up to. We do have our own potty, as this is a place where you must handle your own and leave no trace!
