Apparently I booked a camp site with a family member who does not live on site or seems to communicate with anyone on the farm. When we arrived - they had no idea and said they don’t really accommodate campers. So they basically were really unfriendly until we left. It was not fun and we won’t stay there again. Don’t camp there

We had a great time here. The kids entertained themselves in the woods and on the playground equipment. Our kids loved seeing all the horses.
They did provide a picnic table and a fire pit, which was nice. We didn't know that ahead of time.
Toilet paper/Paper Towels in the bathrooms would have been nice. But otherwise, it was great.

We had a great time at Congress Hill Farm! The campsite was well equipped with a hammock and a firepit; with thoughtful additions like a buggy ride from the carpark and firewood for purchase. Had a great time seeing the animals horses & llamas, feeding the goats, and waking up to the sound of nature. As mentioned in other reviews, be aware that the campsites are a 10 min walk from the front (though you can take the buggy), and there's noise from a shooting range nearby in the afternoon.

The place is amazing! Absolutely loved feeding the goats. The hosts came around and gave us goat food, you can just go whenever you want. There's an archery range! Lots of fun. They came and picked us up and brought our stuff from our car to our site. So easy. So fun. Would definitely recommend.

This was my husband’s and I first camping experience. It was overall fantastic, from the host, to the people working around the farms, other staff, animals around super friendly and helpful. The place was very well kept and clean and we felt safe at all times. I would give this place a 10 out of 10 with the exception of a nearby place where they practice shooting for long hours... which for me (not for my husband) was defeating the purpose of my ‘peace and quiet experience’. So, if you are not that sensitive to noise, it’ Be a great experience. For me, it’s a 8 out of 10 due to the gun shooters next door. But definitely we are very glad to have had this great first exposure to campaign. Thank you to Jeremy who was an extraordinary host!

We had the most amazing time at this camp site! The drive was reasonable from NYC; 2 hours going because of traffic and only 1hr 20 min heading back home. The farm is absolutely beautiful and the animals are well kept. Jeremy was a total sweet heart and was very helpful to us throughout our stay. The grounds were clean and it even included a hammock! They have some areas for kids to enjoy and a really nice range for archery. Jeremy even brought us some feed for the goats; we are huge animals lovers so that was definitely a plus. The outdoor showers and restrooms were super clean. The weather made this trip perfect. Overall a 10/10, we will definitely be returning soon.

Jeremy was very welcoming. He picked us up in the Gator, gave us a tour of the grounds and helped unload our gear at the campsite. He gave us food to feed the goats. The goats are adorable! There was a little zip line and playground that our 7 yr old loved. The sites were clean, coming with a hammock and fire ring. There is one site for "Glamping" that has a gazebo and wooden chairs. Some areas of improvement: We wished that people knew we were there because we felt a little unwelcome at times by the workers of the farm. The showers were warmish. Thankfully it was hot outside that the cool showers were ok. Overall it was a fun experience.

We had the best weekend camping at Congress Hill Farm with my friends and our children. The farm is huge and offers the perfect balance of activities and downtime for a family camping trip. Jeremy was the kindest host and has thought of absolutely everything for his campers (including air conditioned bathrooms, hammocks, and fire pits). Not only did he pick us up from the parking lot and shuttle our gear to our private site on his Gator, but he took us on a tour of the farm. The kids were so excited to see the baby horses, the goats and chickens, the playground, the ropes course, and the zipline. The grounds were well maintained and we felt very safe letting our kids explore on their own. The highlight of the weekend for the kids was getting to feed the goats. For me, the highlight was watching a horse swim in a pool!!!! This is an experience not to be missed and we will definitely be back! Thank you, Congress Hill Farm!!!

Jeremy is super nice host. If you need anything he’s there to help just let him know early. He gave us a tour to the lit Arica., which is awesome. I’ll this is a must go if you are there camping. The camping site also has swimming pool which was closed when we were there. Bummer. ZIP line , trails(an mile), kids playground, Basketball playground, soccer and they have horses riding if you are interested about riding horses, definitely come. Goats feeding are also fun., you can feel the goats tongue all over you hand. They provide cooler, facility including Outdoor shower, bathroom, bbq grill, grill net, logs(in the camping site) and if you need anything, driving 10min there’s a stop and shop.

My family and I camped overnight last night and we really, really loved it. Jeremy was an awesome host and helped us feel very welcomed! When we arrived, he gave us a ride on the golf cart around the loop in the woods, which included an awesome playground area AAAAND a pit stop to see a huge group of 80 goats who ran over to us when Jeremy yelled MEEEHHH at them. It was really so incredible and we appreciated Jeremy's hospitable nature.
The site was clean and beautiful, with a hammock and fire pit. We were at one of the closer campsites which was only about a 5 minute walk to the bathrooms. Our four year old son really loved seeing the horses at the farm and the staff were all very welcoming as well - one staff person offered to have our son pet the horses as they walked by and it was so sweet! This was really one of the best camping experiences we've had and we've already begun to recommend it to our friends and family. You can totally tell how much care goes into everything this farm does and it's a special thing to be able to stay overnight here!

Sites were beautiful, clean and secluded. Host was very hospitable. Great family friend spot with a large jungle gym for kids but with out the crowded RV site feel you find at most family places. It is close to a true camping experience as you can get with out backpacking into the woods. I would recommend this site to friends trying to get away.

Enveloped in the Woods was a great camping experience. You enter this big farm with horse stables for riding and racing horses and the camp site is in the beautiful woods beyond that. There is a sandy path that winds through the woods, past a cool small ropes course and play ground, pastures, a stream, and a pretty gazebo, to the perfect camp site. In the morning, the beautiful racehorses are jogged right past the campsite, which was really cool to see, although some of the riders were shocked that we were there and asked us to stand perfectly still as they rode by so as not to spook their horses! At night there were fireflies everywhere and it almost looked like a fairy disco. The check-in and check-out times are extremely generous (9am check in and 3pm checkout) so we got to spend lots of relaxing time there. A couple of things, we were told the host didn't communicate to anyone at the barn that we were coming so it took a while to get someone to take us to the campsite and also the water for the bathroom wasnt turned on so that took some time as well. Luckily, two wonderful ladies who work and board horses there helped us out and even gave us some veggies from the garden! This is an amazing place that must be run by very special people. You can tell that a lot of love goes into keeping this place beautiful, caring for the animals and the land, hosting happy kids when the have camp and riding lessons...we were so appreciative to have gotten the chance to spend a weekend here!

Great place to stay if you want activities. The playground and zip line was fun for our kid and friends. We dipped in the creek and walked around to visit the goats and horses. There is also a very clean and air conditioned bathroom a nice walk from the campsite. The site also has a fire pit and storage container for your food, that was super helpful. We brought our own grill but they did mention they are adding grills. The staff was super friendly and we felt very comfortable. We had the privacy that we hoped for and some comforts. Check this place out!

This is a wonderful campsite! The place trains harness racing horses, and breeds them. Anyone can watch the horses train for races everyday. Every horse gets his daily required amount of exercise, no negotiations. A huge goat farm. Horseback riding on the kindest of horses. (The horses are nice because they are treated nicely.) It is a one of a kind campsite. You will never see another campsite as nice as this. The owners and family and staff make all this possible and are very serious about their campers enjoying their stay with them.

Camping at Congress Hill Farm was lovely experience! Your campsite will be a very private spot located far back in their woods, next to a stream, and right across from a large goat herd. The goats are hilarious, but a little shy. There are also race horses boarded on the farm who don't interact with guests much, but are still beautiful to look at!
This farm is still ironing out details for campers, and there are some things to be mindful of. Such as the fact that the campsite is about a 15 minute walk from your car, the bathrooms, and main part of the property. They do have someone with a golf cart help you bring all your camping gear back and forth, so that's helpful.
Other than that, there also a gazebo/ lounging/ picnic area, a small playground, and endless opportunity for exploring the property and walking trails :)
