Beautiful spot! Hosts were so kind and brought firewood, grate, and gloves for the fire. Came with my new pup and she had a blast. Saw a baby moose near the property! We hiked Mt Kearsarge (about 20 min away) and it was the perfect morning hike. (Go early as it gets busy!) Definitely recommend a high clearance vehicle, but the road was very manageable. Couple ATVs passed by one afternoon, but otherwise very quiet.
We arrived a bit late and had to leave early, but we were greeted at the foot of the trail and guided (driving our van) up to the campsite. The campsite was quiet with great views of the night sky. We only wish we would have come a bit earlier so we could have seen more of the property or trails. Dorothy was great at communicating before our stay and made everything very easy. Thanks again!
Excellent campsite - private
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The campsite provided great privacy and was very enjoyable for a peaceful spot to camp. Brought my two dogs and the trail, not long, but adequate, provided some nice walking through the forest. Overall, an excellent experience and would recommend. Would suggest having a vehicle with a little clearance to drive on the trail to campsite. Enjoy!
We had a great stay at Wild Card Farm. The 39 acre farm is down a long dirt road. Dorothy and Russell were very helpful in getting us and our things out to site 2 which was about a 1/4 mile hike in. Beautiful setting. Lots of trails and woods to explore. It was the perfect peaceful place to escape COVID-19 and forget about mask wearing and hand sanitizer for a minute. Russell was an amazing help, supplying us with all kinds of camp conveniences!
Best camping trip ever !!
We had an amazing time at Wild Card!! Dorothy and her family were so helpful and kind, and their land is beautiful! We will definitely be coming back again! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice and peaceful camping trip ☮️❤️
This was the perfect spot to get away from the city. It's very secluded in the middle of the woods. We were able to get our VW Eurovan to the campsite, but it was close. Most would probably want to park at the top of the trail and hike in. There's a beautiful spot nearby to swim. Dorothy and Russell were great hosts.
Very nice host, a well balance between showing you your sight and giving you privacy. Large mowed camp site with fire pit. Groomed trails and near by swimming and boating. Short drive to dinners, pizza, and grocery store. Wildcard farms practice good land use practices with preserving nature and wildlife at it's finest. 1.5hr drive from Boston.
