This photo was not taken from Three Pond Shelter, the shelter is at a lower elevation, there is no outhouse or picnic table. A nice walk but not a great place to camp

We hiked the three ponds loop when a storm caught up to us. We happened to be right in front of the shelter path, and we took refuge and waited out the rain. It's a lovely spot in a small clearing, complete with a fire pit. Don't forget your bug spray.
