Home to numerous wildlife and wildflowers.

The tipi is situated on 45 acres in Evan's Notch. It is completely surrounded my National Forest and has access to snowshoe and hiking trails, as well as snowmobiling corridor 19. There is  a fire pit, but *NO* running water (other than Langdon Brook nearby) and has *NO* electricity. It is a gorgeous retreat, but definitely a spot for those used to roughing it, despite the tipi's cozy interior. Please note that the tipi is OPEN to the elements. This is how tipis are designed. You will not get rained or snowed upon if you position your sleeping arrangement accordingly.

Really cool land and Justin is a wonderful host. Directions there were not accurate though, the pin on google maps does not lead to the property. @ the end of the road you have to take a dirt road (there is a sign that says airb&b 1 mile) and there is a gate that makes it look like the road is closed, you have to open it and continue to drive up. Anyway, super worth going!

If you are looking for something fun and secluded this is for you. The tipi is super cool and has a lot of room. Justin was a great host-quick to respond-friendly-helpful-easy to get in touch with. Justin wants to ensure everbody enjoys the experience. The one thing to keep in mind is it is quite buggy as it is on the other side of a field and pretty much in the woods

We loved staying here. Justin is super friendly and accomodating and the site is beautiful. It's remote, quiet, and peaceful. The tipi is well camouflaged in its current location—he texted us with specific directions and we found it easily. We would definitely stay here again!

View from the site. Nearby waterfall. The Tipi in its current location.

The traditional tipi was pretty awesome. It is in a private location on the property and tucked away in the woods. There were moths and a few spiders inside, but you are camping so this is to expected. If you don't like the thought of bugs in your sleeping area, there is a very cool yurt on the property for rent as well. The fire pit in the field was great as well. Nice to sit out at night and enjoy the stars.

The only negative was the bugs - lots of mosquitos. Be prepared with good bug spray as it will help. We had some all-natural spray which didn't really do much to help.

There is a very pretty stream with a waterfall (not crazy big, but still nice) about a 30-40 minute walk from the tipi.

Toad Hill is beautiful and the site was perfectly maintained. Location is perfect - semi-remote, but an easy drive to great hiking (just walking around the property and nearby is awesome). Justin was a wonderful host and was very friendly. Would definitely come back/highly recommend.

One day of nonstop rain and our saving grace was having the Tipi to stay in, have a fire inside it and the day was saved. Walk to the river the next day was a hike, but amazing.
Can't wait for our next adventure there in October.

Justin was an overall great dude! Very friendly and welcoming, we invited him to come sit and have a drink with us in his beautiful meadow and had some great conversation! The Teepee was huge, way bigger than expected and very cool. I would totally recommend this spot!
