This was my favorite experience with Hipcamp thus far. Ulrike was such a gracious host, bringing my husband and me fresh steamed veggies from her garden, letting us cook in her kitchen when it rained, and providing an absolutely wonderful experience on her farm. I would absolutely love to visit here again!
Paca Hill Farm was amazing! Scenic vistas in all directions. My girls didn’t want to leave after feeding and bathing the alpacas. Ulrike is a wonderful host and was incredibly helpful as we were missing some key components of our tent. Her Sunday farm breakfast was delicious and it’s always fun to interact with the other guests. We’ll be back!
The best farm camping ever
This alpaca farm is a dream!!! It was so beautiful and filled with good energy. Ulrike really was an amazing host. Theres also a cute breakfast place across the street you can walk to and ice cream shop it was just perfect!
We only stayed one night with Ulrike on her little farm, but it was a wonderful trip! We got to sleep under the stars right next to the adorable alpacas. We enjoyed playing games in the evening with Ulrike and her other visitors, got to pick fresh veggies from her garden and enjoyed the most wonderful farm breakfast on Sunday! We would highly recommend staying at the Paca Hill Farm, and definitely plan on going back.
Farm + alpacas + camping = farmping
My girlfriend and I camped at Ulrike's farm for 1 night and words can't describe how breathtaking that experience was!
Ulrike is a wonderful host! She's a very inspiring woman, so much so, that it's difficult to pick whether we actually liked her more or the farm. Her care, hospitality, quality of conversation is beyond what a 5 star hotel will offer.
....and that farm, drop dead beautiful! It was like you're living in a real life story book (remember those picture books with a farm that we all saw as kids), that's actually real! The alpacas, chickens, dogs, cats, humans and Queen Ulrike! It's like the cutest kingdom you'll ever come across where the battles are between chickens and grapes, alpacas and water :D We even got to shower the alpacas.
Definitely a must for anyone who likes animals!
Ulrike was such an incredible host. We were hoping to get away for a camping weekend, not much is open now due to the time of year and the current state of the world so we really appreciated her opening her land up to us. While I know she generally is more interactive with guests, this weekend was just what we needed. We camped at the lower site to keep our distance, she gave us access to her a greenhouse, had farm fresh eggs, a firewood starter pack and made sure if we needed anything we could reach out to and ask. We were able to walk up to visit the Alpaca, chickens and pups, and to top it all off our site was next to a marsh/pond which is home to beaver and many birds that made sleeping and waking up so serene. Can't wait to go back and visit when the world is back to normal, we plan to try the pancake house that is in walkable distance highly recommended next time!
Best experience on hipcamp yet. She was so accommodating and even fed us fruit, hard boiled eggs and muffins in the morning. The chickens and alpacas were so cool to see. Such a lovely experience and beautiful property to stay at. She gave us free firewood too! Will have to come again ASAP.
