ATFS Certified Tree Farm / Conservation Area Est. 2004 Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm/Conservation/Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of three unique sites to best fit your camping needs, or book all three to reserve the entire property. We also host custom outdoor retreats/events, and reach out if you are interested in utilizing the mountain for your function. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. On weekends, access to our abutting partner farm for educational tours, fresh organic produce, or plan an evening to have us host your group for private dinners/functions in our outdoor dining area surrounded by botanical gardens. At the common area located at the base of the mountain in (Parking A) guests are provided with a portable toilet, outdoor shower, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, spigot with potable water for filling containers, and mini basketballs/hoop for the kids. Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include... Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy! That said, if you’re looking to venture off-mountain and explore we’re in a great area to do that. We’re located only 7 minutes off Exit 14, NH Route 16 N. Places to visit nearby include... Baxter lake (public access) 5 minutes south. Portsmouth 25 minutes south. Lake Winnipesaukee 20 minutes north. Gunstock mountain resort 25 minutes north. NH’s White Mountains 40 minutes north. Conway 1 hour north. Things to do on the mountain in WINTER include... We offer the only private ski area in New England accessed by either uphill travel or snowmobile lift service. With snow, our unique network of forestry trails and glades are transformed into downhill ski/snowboard runs, snowshoe routes, and fatbike trails. (Site 1 Base Camp) becomes ski-in, ski-out and is our only available site during ski season. Booking Base Camp provides our guests with exclusive private access to the mountain and all of the ski/snowboard/snowshoe/fatbike terrain via groomed uphill routes; one of which begins right out of the campsite.

THE RIDGE at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
A great night out on the ridge
Enjoyed a nice and cool night out in the ridge. The view was awesome especially during sunset and sunrise hours. The climb uphill was quite steep with fallen leaves making it a bit slippery, but hey that’s the fun part of going outdoors! Note that the ridge is pretty exposed so if you come during a windy winter day you may need to have some good weather protection.

THE RIDGE at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
Truly Special, Second to None
Camping at Hussey Mt. Tree Farm is an experience that will surpass your expectations. Full stop. If you're looking for a special place to spend special time and make special memories with special people, look no further. Our group stayed at the Ridge, with a view that simply cannot be beat. The hike up to the site was a fun and steep trail, well-marked and easy to navigate even at night. The layout of our site was perfect. Seeing the care given to cultivating this experience as we hiked the trails around the mountain was inspiring to us all. Eben is an awesome host, you can count on him for a chill and comfortable time.

LEDGEWOOD at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
Perfect for kids and dogs!
This is exactly what I want from a Hipcamp site! It is far from other campers, there’s so much room for my kids to run around and explore, the views are beautiful, there’s an outhouse within walking distance, our dog could run around off leash and the host was SO accommodating!! The host, Eben, is so nice and so helpful it made this experience that much better!! The site we stayed at is a 0.25 mile walk from 4WD parking. He greeted us and used an ATV to bring all of our stuff to the site (you really can’t do the walk with a wagon of your own or without his ATV if you have a lot of gear). On Sunday when we were ready to go we texted him a time to meet us at the site and he was there to help us load everything into the ATV again. The walk was a little far for my 2 year old but my 4 and 6 year old did it just fine! We will definitely be back!!

LEDGEWOOD at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
Amazing experience!
We loved the experience of tent camping at Eben’s land. That was a total of 4 people and 3 dogs, if you have pets they’ll love the area ! Eben was great with communication, incredibly nice and very helpful with whatever we needed. The site has a great set up with some lights, water, table , chairs and Canopy tent(which was great since we didn’t have one and it was raining most of the time). It has amazing views and trails, we didn’t have much luck with weather but we still enjoyed it. Definitely want to go back another time of the year to enjoy it with a better weather.

BASE CAMP at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
Sweet private campsite experience!
We loved our time camping here! It’s not easy to find a private campsite with power/water hookup, so that was amazing to have. Eben was a great host - super personable and responsive and has set up a really cool site with everything you could need. Our pups loved being able to be off leash and the mountain had such nice trails to explore. This place really is a gem, we’ll be back for sure!

BASE CAMP at Hussey Mtn. Tree Farm
We had a fantastic time at Even’s tree farm - very beautiful land, communication was great and Even is a great host. We went up the lookout for sunrise, rented a boat to paddle on the lake and enjoyed some mountain top Yoga with amazing views. Highly recommended.
