Big Sky Farm
Peaceful, simple retreat
I had a really nice solo retreat tent camping at the farm. My campsite was tucked into a private wooded area a close walk from my parking spot next to the farmhouse. Laura and her son were responsive and friendly. The sites in the meadow were flooded with all the rain hence site in words, but honestly i think i lucked out because the more private spot in the woods was just what I needed to get away from the city chaos / noise. Oh, and the outhouse was super clean!

Idyllic Farm Setting for some R & R
What a fantastic time we had at Big Sky Farm! This was our base camp for a few days of local hiking and we really appreciated the serenity the farm offered on our return each day. From enjoying sunset and sunrise strolls near the fruit orchards and sugar maple stands to visiting with the cows, pigs, sheeps, goats, horses, ducks, and dogs, we truly felt relaxed and refreshed from our short stay (... a lot easier to relax when you're not the one doing farm chores!). The hosts were extremely friendly and heplful while also allowing us peace and quiet to enjoy the beautiful location. Our site was a quiet clearing in the woods (about 12x15 feet) with a firepit and, for $10, our hosts stacked enough wood at our site to last a few evenings. Parking at the site was convenient, a water spigot was easily accessible, and the outhouse was clean. We could not have asked for a better visit!

Big Sky Farm
Nice spot. Felt both very removed, but also convenient (2 hours from Boston, 30 minutes from Mt. Sunapee). Very well kept bathrooms. 4 sites total (my understanding is normally it is 6 but due to COVID it's been brought down) - we didn't run into fellow campers the entire time. No picnic tables.

Peaceful Camping
Great people and great land. Our kids loved the animals. Site was extremely clean and well maintained. The maple syrup the sell is awesome!
