Come camp in total seclusion on five private acres of land, and pitch your tent on well groomed campsites only a minute away from parking, but 300 yards away from the closest rural country road.

Our camp sits at the edge of beautiful 160 acre Sportsman's Pond, to which campers have access from a dock on the property. Bring your own paddle-boats or take advantage of two on-site kayaks to fish, explore the lake, or get a better view of some incredible wildlife.

Adjacent to the shady forested campsites you'll have access to a rolling quarter-acre field complete with a firepit (firewood is available onsite), a picnic table, and a hose for (filtered) drinking water or a quick rinse after a swim in the lake. For groups of nightowls looking for a late-night picnic, the field can be fully lit-up at night if desired.

Although the camp is adjacent to a cabin on the property, it will be unoccupied during your stay, leaving only you, the stars, and a strong WIFI signal.

We had a great trip here and would definitely return! Secluded spot right on the waterfront. There are 3 campsites and one common area with the campfire ring, picnic table, and small bench in front of the fire. The overhead lights in the open area were a nice addition for the evenings. The campfire has a grate over it for cooking - Clayton recommended using foil or pans on the grate, and I would agree with that. The firewood is stored under shelter at the house, which was great because it was very dry and easy to light. Some kindling had already been gathered next to the fire ring when we arrived. The port-a-potty seemed new, very clean, and had toilet paper. The kayaks also seemed new, and very comfy! The internet connection on wifi worked well. Not much cell service in the area, so that was useful.

Suggestions - I would definitely bring bug-spray...mosquito's are around at night because of being right on the water. The driveway has a bit of a hill at the bottom of it, just as a heads up. We have a manual mini-cooper and were able to get back up the hill but were not sure if we would be able to.

There might be ghosts (as indicated by the name), or just small animals walking around in the leaves at night - not sure which ;) But we survived, unscathed.

Very private. We camped in the field rather than on a wooded site. Lots of mosquitos but otherwise great spot.

Really enjoyed this place in the Fall. The lake was beautiful, peaceful, and empty. The kayak out in the morning still water was serene. Clayton keeps the place very well maintained; everything was clean, there was ample firewood, and the lights and water were easily accessible. We opted to set up on the flat grassland to see the lake in the morning and stars at night. Thanks for a great stay, Clayton
