This place was GREAT. I thought the set-up might be hot and buggy, but it was so cool and not one mosquito got in ... which, in NH, is really saying something. There was plenty of room and lots of adorable animals to greet you. Great hosts.
Teepee camping is the best!
We had a great time! The Teepee was perfect ... nice enough where we were comfortable but rustic enough for the kids and I to pretend we were Kiowas. The fire pit in the Teepee was so, so nice and the rain was not even bothersome. We just sat cozy before the fire until it stopped. We have two kids a boy, Atigun 11 and a girl, Maddie 7 and they enjoyed every minute of the whole adventure. Maddie was especially taken with the horses and Elizabeth (and I now see a horse in our future.) Atigun liked the pond and fishing the most. Jocelyn was all over the blueberries and tramping around in the woods. It was a fantastic family experience and the Teepee was such a hit for us all. I would recommend it to anyone especially those folks with kids.
Beautiful farm with a cozy tipi
A really beautiful farm with a cozy tipi! Elizabeth was very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed here for 2 nights in the tipi with an indoor campfire that kept us warm during the night - fire wood was available onsite. The cots were comfy - just sleeping bags were required. We felt very welcome at Elizabeth’s horse farm - the 3 dogs and the free-roaming donkey roaming were really a very nice addition. We would highly recommend to stay here! We will certainly go back again.
Staying at Elizabeth's oasis was the nature recharge that we needed. She met us upon arrival, giving us suggestions for around town and an awesome sunset spot. It was great to see the animals, and to have the unique experience of staying in a tipi. We would definitely reccomend this to anyone looking for a place to stay.
