Description

When you are looking for a little peace and quiet away from the crowds, check out the Ranch Campground at Spring Valley State Park. It is a small and primitive campground set about two miles away from the hustle and bustle of the main campground, boat ramps, and reservoir. Here you can find your serenity among the volcanic rock, plentiful birds, trees, and open sky of this beautiful park. If that’s not enough, a big, sparkly lake is just down the road if you feel like getting in!

Nice and isolated. Had a water hookup at our site, and possibly the nicest park bathroom I've ever experienced. Very well cared for by the park. There's a trailhead at the end of the line of camp sites, handicap accessible bathroom and campsite, metal canopy and picnic table at each spot (which was nice to have some shade with). Me, my wife, and 2 little girls all enjoyed it.
