Description

On the western shore of the Rye Patch Reservoir, Westside Campground is the larger of the two campgrounds found within the park. This is where you’ll find the park’s boat launch and fishing area. There’s a short nature trail along the shore that will bring you to River Campground, and more trails along the eastern shore. Slip your boat in the water and explore the 22-mile-long reservoir, and be sure to bring your fishing pole; crappie, wipers, white bass, and channel catfish are abundant in these waters. There’s even more stars than fish, so when the sun goes down, be prepared to lie back and be amazed.
