Hosted by Martin Ranch V.
In 1887, James and Agnes Morrison bought the 80 acre Antelope Valley Ranch. James and Agnes raised four children, together the family worked raising cattle, gardening, farming and hay crops.
Passed down through generations, our grandfather Robert Martin and great Uncle Albert Englebright (James and Anges Morrison's grandsons) continued the operation that is known today as Martin Ranch.
Martin Ranch remains family owned and operated. Now into it's 6th generation of operation, the traditions and family values are impressed upon our growing family.
Cattle roam the open range among wild horses, Pronghorn Antelope, Mule Deer and Rocky Mountain Elk. Spring and Fall Round Ups bring us all together sharing in the same traditions that were practiced years ago.
Branding Irons glow hot in campfires, calves bellow for Momma's, lariat ropes twirling, dust rising, the cowboy way continues. A way of life not all forgotten, but a real way of life for our families.
Meals are harvested from the garden outside our front door, home raised beef and the family recipes passed down from Great Grandma are still shared with loved ones around the table. A spirit of welcoming home, a place where memories are made and dreams live on.
