Ruby Mountains Sunrise

Pitch your tent on our beautiful ranch property next to lovely Lamoille Creek. You'll enjoy a gorgeous view of the Ruby Mountains, a five-minute drive from camp. Your campsite will be shaded by cottonwood and haw trees, with plenty of birdsong to fill your mornings. At night you can listen to the creek while enjoying the light of the moon or the blaze of the Milky Way.

Our property makes an excellent base camp for all kinds of local adventures. We are adventurers ourselves, and can share years worth of local knowledge to help you get started with your own explorations. Check out the list to see the extensive opportunities. You're also within easy walking distance of a couple of great local watering holes, both of which serve decent food if you don't feel like cooking.
While you're here, you'll get to see the workings of a modern grass-based ranching operation, with finishing beef cattle, chickens and turkeys all being raised ethically and in the sunshine near your campsite. You're also welcome to enjoy the Lamoille Farmer's Market, held on our property the second and fourth Saturday mornings of the month June to October, featuring locally raised meats and produce, locally-crafted artisan bread, cheese, honey and other locally produced agricultural products.
One note: the website doesn't let me differentiate between sites. Site 1 is appropriate for RVs, etc. Sites 2, 3 and 4 are walk-in tent camping only, less than a five-minute walk from parking.
A final note - we aren't kidding when we ask you to keep your pets on a leash. There are a lot of critters on our place, including skunks and porcupines. If you keep your dog leashed he/she will be safe. Skunks and porkies are awfully cute from a distance but you won't like the results if your dog gets too close. Thanks.
