***** THIS LOCATION IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE ***** WANT TO HELP IMPROVE THIS CAMP SITE? Stay and play (in the dirt)! Looking to build some stuff, or paint some stuff, or want to get creative? Look no further! Bring your tools (battery operated), your strength, and your great ideas, and help us turn this dry camping spot into something truly unique and special! Get ready for SPRING in this amazing valley! Wildlife is back, and the stars are out! Also, this is a Kite Flyers' Dream! This area is known as "Windy Valley". Bring your kite and chase away the afternoon by playing like a kid! No facilities (dry camping only at this time), but LOTS of open land to explore! Flat land to ride your recreational vehicle, or bicycle. Hills and mountains to traverse and test your limits. Hot Springs, and a dry river bed to check out. Get back in tune with nature! Will be making improvements in the near future. KEEP CHECKING BACK! (Recommend at least 18” of undercarriage clearance, due to shrubbery.) *Please send me a note to let me know why you didn't choose my site, and how I can improve it!*

Pumpernickel Camping!
A responsive and helpful host!
The photos don’t do justice to the real thing! Alexandra is helpful, informative and straight-forward. Responsive, personable and practical, as a good host should be!

Pumpernickel Camping!
Stargaze from Central Nevada
The direction, communication, and recommendations from the Alexandra made this is an easy find, even in the middle of the night with no street lights. There is a-lot to do for the outdoor enthusiast. You're surrounded by stars and BLM. for miles. You're also about an hour from Elko and the Ruby Mountains. We stopped here while driving from Reno to Salt Lake City. While in town, we stopped at the cemetery, checked out the BLM space, and took a visit to the general store. The However, the best part was at night. We could see so many stars (see photos). It ss hard to beat a star filled sky in central Nevada. FYI: Plan to bring water, sunscreen, and try to bring your own sort of shade (tent, canopy, etc.). It gets HOT out here, and there are no shaded areas for miles. Lastly, check with the host on your car clearance for accessing the site. We couldn't make the intended access point, due to our vehicle not having the appropriate clearance. Luckily, Alexandra's communication with awesome, and she helped us get in through her front driveway.
