Beautiful secluded campsite next to a pond, we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely book again!

Equine Woodlands is a traditional campground with amenities for the equestrian inclined. If you have a horse you'll have access to endless trails, convenient horse accommodations and multiple obstacle courses. If you're like us, and your steed is your two feet, you'll have bountiful opportunity to run around outdoors, hike the tangle of single track trails or go fishing on the pond.
The campground features a crescent of campsites along the creek. Each one has stand up and picnic tables, electricity and a fire ring. Think your traditional campground, but with horses and better amenities. There's two well built outhouses with lighting and a shower building next door. Both are situated across the field from where we camped. Next to the outhouses is a large picnic shelter that's perfect for big groups.
We hiked the meadow beyond the creek, but also spent some time by the neighboring Missouri National Recreational River. In this locale the Missouri is monstrous and untamed by humankind. We hiked up to a nearby outlook along Nebraska 15 at sunset to take it all in. There's also a nearby boat landing that would be perfect for a canoe or kayak adventure.
If you're feeling more adventurous than the campground ask Brenda about camping atop the giant hills. You'll get a great place to setup camp away from just about everybody and stunning views of the valley below.
