We really enjoyed our stay. It was very secluded and private - just what we were looking for. If you want to get away from civilization, you will love this location. Our dogs didn't want to leave!!! Teal was great and it was interesting learning about their working ranch.

This is not glamping. It’s better. This is solitude under a full sky of stars and lightening bugs sparkling and the river and wind rushing you forget there is another world somewhere else.

If you like nature. If you want to be alone with some birds and yes, a few bugs. And some cattle in the distance, and deer and the water and wind and sky... did I say that already? This is your place.

I didn’t actually stay at the diving lake. I stayed at the other one. Teal, who is awesome, gave me a choice. She’s a badass woman and I recommend you have some 4-wheel drive that can keep up with her. You don’t need it, but it might be helpful. I ended up getting stuck on the off road and Teal came back out on her Saturday night to rig me up and pull my van out of the ditch. I probably shouldn’t have expected it to make it down to that particular campsite.

This is a special place. If you need your amenities go elsewhere and leave this to those who love nature. I will never forget this spot. And I would definitely go back!
