This place was perfect, right next to the river, secluded, quiet and private! Taylor was very accomidating and nice! It was a nice besutiful place to get out of thr city for a while!
Wonderful, scenic, private and safe
The Hyde Ranch Camp was wonderful. The setting was lovely and private. The property is situated on the banks of the Loup River off a quiet country road. Super peaceful and set in nature. A level camping site, with trees and equipped with fire pit,, picnic table and firewood avaiable. We saw loads of birds and enjoyed the stars by our camp fire without ambient liight.. Definitely the nicest camp we have experienced. Responsive and thoughtful host. Definitely worth the drive. Added perk was the great cell and 4g coverage from our campsite. A highlight of our trip!
Communication could be better
Unfortunately I never made it to this site so I do not have much Information regarding the accuracy of the description/directions, privacy, beauty, etc. The communication with the host, however, was not great. My boyfriend and I were on a road trip, and maybe it could have been because of poor service through Nebraska (giving the benefit of the doubt), but I tried many times to get in touch with the host many times prior to our arrival with question and updates and I never heard from him. We didn’t end up making it there because we had driven all day from SLC, Utah and didn’t realize how far off the 80 his ranch was. Communication could be better.
