Home away from home
It was as if I stepped out of my home and into a new home. We’ve been on the road for over a week camping at plenty of dusty, big-ridden, off the beaten path sites and coming to camp Carlow felt like a little bit of luxury! Iris and her husband were both extremely kind and welcoming and the grass is perfect for wandering barefoot. I’d drive an hour out of the way to stay here again :)
Iris is the sweetest host you’ll meet! Her and her family were super personable and we got a tour of the beautiful property, lots of amenities. There’s a gazebo with a fire pit and a nice private field surrounded by trees to set up a tent.
Camp Carlowe is located on a large and very quiet property. There were lots of spots to camp and a fair amount of land to explore. The hosts were very nice and responsive throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!
Pretty spot in panco
Iris and Mike have a lovely farm and three nice camping areas. The grass was plentiful and 2/3 were private which was nice. They were easy to work with and patient with our changing plans. Please note that GPS often has trouble locating them. Mike told us after we arrived that he recommends Google Maps rather than GPS and knowing that up front would have saved us a bit of nervousness.
Mike and Iris were great! We were met as soon as we got there and shown around the place. Mike let us pick some apples from their apple tree and they were delicious. I enjoyed the area and will stay there again if we are ever back out west.
